Total success for the 90 years of the PCM Group

2022 marks the 90th anniversary of the PCM Group, whose headquarters are in Levallois-Perret (92).

Founded in 1932 by René Moineau, the inventor of the Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP), PCM is today established in more than 90 countries with more than 6 industrial sites and more than 25 subsidiaries. PCM has been offering its worldwide customers high quality fluid handling solutions for over 90 years.

And 90 years it is no small achievement! For the occasion, PCM decided to invite many of its international employees to Champtocé-sur-Loire, France, where the French factory is based.

The week of September 19 was full of events: trainings, workshops, meetings, and festivities were organized. It was an opportunity to get together, especially following the health crisis we all experienced. Thus, a first dinner took place on Wednesday, September 21 in the chapel of the Château d'Angers. It was preceded by a guided tour of the ramparts and the Tapestry of the Apocalypse. This allowed people coming from abroad, and others, to immerse themselves in the history of Angers.

On Thursday, September 22, the PCM Group celebrated its 90th anniversary with 320 of its employees at the Domaine de Chatillon in Cantenay-Epinard.

The event began with a ceremony filmed and broadcasted live worldwide on PCM's internal network. Mario MARTIGNONI, Chief Executive Officer, Frédéric GARDE, Deputy Managing Director, Andy BALLINGER, Food & Industry Sbu Director (Strategic Business Unit), Alex DAMNJANOVIC, Oil & Gas SBU Director, Daniel UTTER, Group Financial Director, and Sébastien CLOAREC, Chief Operations Officer, took the stage to talk strategy, to thank the employees, and to introduce the regional managers. After this more solemn moment, it was time to celebrate. Everything was gathered to spend a convivial moment: group photos with a drone, magic show, mentalists, music group, casino game tables, photobooth, ... and DJ to finish the evening.

The next day, Friday September 23rd, the most courageous finished the week on a sporty note. PCM participated in the third edition of the Marathon Relais Inter-entreprise de La Pommeraye.

The event took place as follows: A team, composed of 6 participants, took turns on a 42km race (about 7km/participant). Each runner completed a loop before handing over to one of his teammates, and so on until the end of the course. The result of the race: 1,000 € were raised with all the 1,100 runners for the Fight against Cancer association.

It was a successful week of celebrations! The PCM employees were all delighted with these events! The 90 years of PCM came at the right time and brought the teams together to build the next 90 years of the Group... Keep it moving!
