Submersible Oil Pump
Cumulating both the advantages of a downhole driven system and the benefits inherent to the PCP technology.
ESPCP integrates the pumping technology of a Progressing Cavity Pump (PCP) within the Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) system. ESPCPs outperform ESPs facing gas lock, emulsion, sand erosion or high energy consumption.Furthermore, PCM proposes to combine a submersible Permanent Magnet Motor (PMM) with the PCP to push the lift performance at the highest level.
Benefits of ESPCP system
- Higher well performance and reliability thanks to the absence of rod string
- Use of Permanent Magnet Motor increasing the overall lifespan of the system and improving the overall efficiency
- Maintenance free system
ESP conversion: changing pump technology to offset declining wells
- Wells with high Gas-to-Oil ratio (no gas lock)
- Viscous and sandy wells
- Offshore wells
Rod Driven PCP conversion: reduce tubing and rod failure to lower OPEX
- Highly deviated wells
- Fields requiring power savings
